Class of Travel
Silver Service Dining Class is our luxury dining experience. On board chefs freshly prepare all your meals for the day and silver service dining staff wait at your table. Starting with the Great English Breakfast soon after you board, a light lunch or packed lunch (If timings on the day allow) before you arrive and a four course meal on the return, your meals will be served with a view of some of the most stunning countryside in the UK. A fully licensed bar service is available. As well as tables for four, our tables for two are the ideal choice for an unusual and memorable dining excursion for a special occasion. Tables of two can be guaranteed for an additional charge of £15.00 per person – and both passengers have window seats. The dress code in Premier Dining is smart casual as we like you to travel in comfort. Premier Dining Class is normally available up to and including any pick up station until 09.30, but please check at the time of booking. First Class accommodation is arranged around tables of four or two with deep cushioned armchairs. Tables of two can be guaranteed for an additional charge of £15.00 per person – and both passengers have window seats. Complimentary cup coffee and biscuits are available in the morning and a cup of tea and biscuits in the afternoon are also included.
Standard class seats are arranged in groups of four, mostly around a table.
Regular passengers in First and Standard classes bring elaborate hampers and picnics and make a day of it. It's amazing what you can eat on a day out by train!
